Product Overview
This interchangeable CA33-8 coalescer filter element is a direct replacement for the original FACET CA33-8 model. It serves as the core oil-water
separation component specially designed for aviation kerosene, diesel fuel and finished oil depots. It fully matches the original size, installation
interface and separation performance of genuine FACET products, and can be directly installed into FACET filter housings without any equipment
modification.Adopting integrated multi-layer composite hydrophilic glass fiber media, the filter completes two core functions: solid impurity interception and
emulsified water separation based on coalescence and demulsification principles. It effectively solves problems such as excessive water and solid
contaminants in fuel, and is widely applied in airport fuel depots, refineries, dock oil loading & unloading systems and diesel storage tanks. It
balances stable filtration precision and high flow rate to cut equipment operation and maintenance costs.

Working Principle
1. Pre-filtration of solid contaminants
Fuel mixed with dirt and emulsified water flows from the outer to inner layers of the filter media. Gradient multi-layer glass fiber layers intercept
rust, dust, colloid and other particulate pollutants, preventing abrasion and blockage of downstream pipelines, valves and fuel pumps.
2. Coalescence of tiny emulsified water droplets
The hydrophilic and oleophobic fiber media attracts micro water droplets suspended in fuel. Tiny droplets collide and merge into large water
beads after continuous adsorption on fiber surfaces.
3. Gravity water separation
Coalesced large water droplets are heavier than fuel, and sink to the bottom of filter housings under gravity to realize thorough oil-water
separation, producing dry, clean finished fuel with ultra-low water content.

Key Advantages
1. Perfect compatibility with original FACET equipment
Outer diameter, overall length, end sealing structure and installation dimensions are 1:1 replicated from FACET CA33-8. Matching nitrile rubber
gaskets ensure zero leakage and stable flow without performance loss during replacement.
2. Composite media for consistent separation efficiency
Constructed with reinforced borosilicate microglass fiber and supporting mesh. It achieves 0.3μm solid particle removal efficiency and over
99.9% emulsified water removal rate, complying with EI 1581 aviation fuel standards. The media resists deformation and collapse under long-
term operation.
3. High durability for harsh working conditions
Corrosion-resistant perforated metal inner support tube, stainless steel end caps and oil-resistant sealing gaskets withstand differential pressure
up to 75 psi. It works steadily within a wide temperature range of -20℃ ~ 115℃ and adapts to neutral fuel media with pH value 5–9, resisting
corrosion from aviation kerosene and diesel.
4. High dirt holding capacity to reduce replacement frequency
Pleated deep filter media maximizes contaminant storage capacity, extending service life by more than 30% compared with ordinary low-cost
filters. Less frequent replacements reduce equipment downtime and improve continuous fuel supply efficiency for depots.
5. Cost-effective alternative to imported original parts
It delivers equivalent performance to genuine FACET filters with shorter delivery lead time and lower unit price. Custom bulk orders are
supported, making it the optimal alternative filter for overseas fuel purification projects and domestic depot maintenance.

Application Scenarios
1. Aviation industry: Fuel depots at airports and refueling truck fuel purification, to meet strict low-water and low-impurity standards and protect
aircraft engines.
2. Petroleum storage & transportation: Refinery finished oil pipelines, dock oil loading platforms and diesel storage tanks to remove rainwater
and pipeline rust generated during storage and transportation.
3. Industrial fuel supply systems: Diesel pipelines for generator sets and heavy mining machinery, preventing equipment rust and fuel injector
blockage caused by water contamination.
4. Fine chemical light oil processing: Demulsification and purification of light hydrocarbons and solvent oils to eliminate free emulsified water
generated in production.
