Coalescing & Filtration Working Principle

The FAUDI MIL.4-559 coalescing filter adopts two-stage gradient progressive filtration technology. The outer open fiber layer performs pre-filtration to intercept large-scale sediments and scale, preventing premature clogging of the inner precision media and ensuring uniform fluid distribution across the entire filter area.

During standard in-to-out fluid penetration, micron-level water droplets and oil mist are fully captured by the high-hydrophilic inner glass fiber network. Under continuous fluid shear force, scattered micro-droplets collide, adsorb and polymerize into large-diameter droplets. By gravity effect, the enlarged water droplets separate from the hydrocarbon fluid and settle into the filter sump, while clean fuel flows steadily downstream to complete high-standard purification.
