Coalescing filter elements are specialized filtration devices designed to remove liquid aerosols and solid contaminants from gas streams. These high-performance filters merge small liquid droplets into larger ones that can be easily drained, while simultaneously capturing particulate matter. Our FC-1000 series offers superior performance in critical industrial applications.

Working Principle

  1. Multi-stage Filtration:

    • Primary layer captures large particles (≥3μm)

    • Fine fiber media coalesces small liquid droplets (0.3-3μm)

    • Hydrophobic membrane prevents re-entrainment

  2. Coalescence Process:

    • Liquid droplets collide and merge on fiber surfaces

    • Enlarged droplets flow downward by gravity

    • Separated liquid collects in sump for drainage
