What's coalescer separator filter cartridge??

The coalescing separator is mainly designed for oil-water separation. It contains two types of filter elements, namely coalescing filter elements and separation filter elements;

Coalescing separation filter elements are widely used for filtration and separation in the fields of natural gas, aviation kerosene, etc. They have the characteristics of large dirt holding capacity, long service life, and high filtration accuracy. They are key components for protecting precision equipment and improving medium purity;

Filter media:

· Aviation fuel, gasoline, kerosene, diesel;

· Liquefied petroleum gas, tar, benzene, toluene, xylene, isopropylbenzene, polypropylbenzene, etc.;

· Turbine oil and other low-viscosity hydraulic oils and lubricating oils;

· Cyclohexane, isopropyl alcohol, cyclohexanone, cyclohexanone, etc.;

· Other hydrocarbon compounds;

· Core function: to coalesce tiny droplets (such as water, oil mist) dispersed in gas or liquid into large droplets for subsequent separation or sedimentation;

· Material: using multiple layers of ultra-fine glass fiber or synthetic fiber with a lyophilic (such as hydrophilic or lipophilic) coating;

The structure is mostly folded or deep gradient design to increase the contact area;

· Working principle: When tiny droplets pass through the filter material, they are adsorbed and aggregated into large droplets due to surface tension, and finally separated from the filter material due to gravity or airflow;

· Advantages: Highly efficient removal of submicron droplets (accuracy can reach 0.3μm);

· Suitable for gas/liquid environments with high humidity or oil mist;

· Application scenarios: Natural gas pretreatment (removal of liquid hydrocarbons and water mist); Compressed air system (oil and water removal); Aviation fuel filtration (separation of free water)
