Product Overview

PECO FG-36 is a high-throughput long-type element in the PECO FG natural gas coalescer series. Compared with FG-12 and FG-24 short and medium-size filters, FG-36 greatly increases effective filtration area, bringing significant improvements in gas processing capacity, dirt holding capacity and service life. The standard straight cylindrical structure ensures uniform radial gas flow, effectively avoiding local media overload and pressure surge under long-term high-load continuous operation.

Our replacement FG-36 filter adopts upgraded multi-layer gradient oleophilic-hydrophobic glass fiber media. With precise layered filtration structure, it efficiently captures ultra-fine liquid aerosols that are difficult to filter by ordinary elements, coalesces tiny droplets into large liquid masses for rapid gravity separation. The integral thickened metal end cap and precision sealing structure completely eliminate gas bypass leakage. The enhanced thick-wall internal support pipe provides excellent pressure resistance, preventing media collapse and deformation under long-term high-flow and pressure fluctuation conditions. Working Principle

FG-36 adopts PECO’s classic high-capacity inside-out coalescing separation principle:

1. Contaminated natural gas carrying condensate liquid, micro aerosols and solid impurities flows radially outward from the inner core.

2. Gradient high-density oleophilic media captures and merges tiny liquid aerosols into large water and oil droplets.

3. Coalesced liquid flows down along the filter outer wall and is discharged through the liquid discharge port of the filter housing.

4. Purified dry gas passes through the media layer steadily and enters downstream equipment to complete gas-liquid-solid three-phase purification.
