Product Overview
The JFS-324 separation filter features a unique conical shape, fully compatible with mainstream vertical natural gas separator housings widely used across the natural gas industry. Built-in reinforced metal support cage delivers outstanding structural rigidity under high gas velocity and prevents filter medium expansion or deformation. The specially treated hydrophobic fiber surface repels liquid, allowing trapped droplets to slide downward along the taper for gravity drainage. The filter material offers excellent tolerance against natural gas condensate, methanol, glycol and other pipeline chemical additives, avoiding medium failure and performance decline under long-term continuous operation.
Complete JFS series available specifications: JFS-312, JFS-324, JFS-336, JFS-348, JFS-372, JFS-512, JFS-524, JFS-536, JFS-548, JFS-572.
We also provide supporting natural gas filter series including PCHG, FG, JFG, JMG and G series to supply complete gas purification solutions for various industrial projects.

Working Principle
Gas mixed with aggregated liquid droplets flows from the outer side toward the inner core through JFS-324 filter medium.
Fine liquid droplets collide with hydrophobic fiber layers and get intercepted steadily on the filter surface.
Captured liquid droplets continuously merge and expand, sliding down the conical surface under gravity.
Separated liquid flows into the bottom sump of filter vessel; dry and purified natural gas flows onward to downstream pipelines.
Key Features
Tapered conical construction, direct fit for standard housings designed for JFS-324 filter cartridges
Multi-layer gradient hydrophobic fiber medium, outstanding gas-liquid separation efficiency
Reinforced inner support cage, resistant to deformation under high flow velocity
Low and stable pressure differential, reducing long-term energy consumption of gas system
Great chemical compatibility with natural gas condensate and pipeline treatment agents
Optimized size design, suitable for medium-flow natural gas purification skids

Application Scenarios
JFS-324 natural gas separation filter is extensively deployed in natural gas gathering stations, pressure regulating & metering stations, city gate stations, medium-sized compressor stations and pipeline terminal facilities. It carries out secondary separation after primary coalescing filters to remove residual free water and hydrocarbon liquid from gas flow. The cartridge can also conduct gas-liquid separation for nitrogen, carbon dioxide and other non-corrosive industrial gas, safeguarding precision measuring equipment and gas conveying machinery.
Product Advantages
Separation medium professionally optimized for natural gas working conditions, effectively preventing liquid re-entrainment.
Stable pressure differential extends service cycle and lowers regular filter replacement expenses.
Standard exterior dimensions support plug-and-play replacement of equivalent filter elements from international well-known brands.
Reliable end cap sealing design avoids gas bypass and guarantees full-flow filtration effect.
Compact structural layout, easy for installation and maintenance on skid-mounted gas processing devices.
FAQ
Q1: What core function does JFS-324 filter cartridge achieve?
A1: JFS-324 is classified as secondary separation filter. It captures coalesced liquid droplets and residual fine solid particles from natural gas after primary coalescing filtration to produce dry purified gas.
Q2: Can JFS-324 operate independently without matching coalescing filter?
A2: It is not recommended. This model is designed to work with upstream coalescing filter cartridges. Independent operation will lead to rapid medium blockage and unsatisfactory separation results.
Q3: What is the applicable working temperature range of JFS-324?
A3: The continuous operating temperature ranges from -40℃ to 120℃, adapting to most outdoor natural gas pipeline environmental conditions.
Q4: Is JFS-324 applicable for hydrogen sulfide containing natural gas?
A4: The standard version fits non-corrosive natural gas. For medium with high H₂S content, customized anti-corrosion materials for end caps and support frame are available.
Q5: How to judge the replacement timing of JFS-324 filter element?
A5: Replace the cartridge when the pressure difference of filter vessel reaches preset warning value, or liquid carryover phenomenon emerges at the gas outlet.
Q6: Can JFS-324 directly replace other models in JFS series?
A6: It cannot. Models such as JFS-312, JFS-324 and JFS-336 differ in overall length and outer diameter. Customers must select the exact model matching existing filter housing.
Q7: Can customized sizes be provided based on JFS-324?
A7: Yes. We support customized length, interface structure and filter medium formulation according to customer technical drawings and detailed requirements.
