JFS-372 Natural Gas Separator Filter Cartridge | Ultra-Long Tapered Gas-Liquid Separation Element

JFS-372 is an ultra-long tapered secondary separation filter cartridge developed for large-flow and high-load natural gas coalescing separation systems. As one of the high-capacity models in the JFS series, this filter features an extended structural design and oversized effective filtration area, capable of handling ultra-large volume natural gas transmission. Equipped with multi-layer gradient hydrophobic composite fiber media, it efficiently captures massive hydrocarbon condensate, free water droplets and fine solid particles after primary coalescence filtration. The JFS-372 maintains stable and efficient gas-liquid separation performance under long-term full-load operation and fluctuating pipeline pressure, effectively protecting large compressors, precision metering devices, pressure regulating valves and downstream pipeline systems from liquid contamination and particle abrasion. It is the preferred secondary separation element for large-scale natural gas gate stations and long-d

Product Introduction

Product Overview

Different from conventional short and medium-sized JFS models, the JFS-372 adopts an ultra-long tapered conical structure, greatly increasing the filtration area and dirt holding capacity. This structural upgrade fundamentally solves the problem of easy blockage and short service cycle of ordinary filter elements under high-flow working conditions. The built-in fully wrapped reinforced metal support cage provides excellent structural stability, preventing media expansion, deformation and layer separation under long-term high-speed gas impact. The high-hydrophobic fiber material achieves ultra-low liquid adhesion, ensuring that aggregated liquid droplets can quickly slide down the tapered surface for gravity separation without secondary entrainment. With excellent chemical resistance to natural gas condensate, methanol, glycol and other pipeline additives, the JFS-372 maintains consistent performance in long-cycle industrial operation.

Complete JFS series full range models: JFS-312, JFS-324, JFS-336, JFS-348, JFS-372, JFS-512, JFS-524, JFS-536, JFS-548, JFS-572. Matched with JFG, JMG, FG, PCHG and other series filter elements, it can form a complete two-stage high-efficiency natural gas purification system to meet various complex gas treatment demands.

Working Principle

JFS-372 ultra-long tapered separation filter follows external-to-internal radial filtration and gravity coalescence separation principle:

1. High-flow natural gas containing tiny liquid droplets and solid impurities flows uniformly from outside to inside through the gradient filter media.

2. The multi-density hydrophobic fiber layer intercepts fine solid particles and captures scattered micro liquid aerosols.

3. Tiny liquid droplets collide, aggregate and grow into large liquid masses, sliding down along the tapered filter surface by gravity.

4. Separated liquid accumulates at the bottom of the filter vessel and is discharged regularly, while dry and purified natural gas is stably delivered to downstream pipelines.

FAQ

Q1: What are the advantages of JFS-372 compared with other JFS models?

A1: JFS-372 has the longest overall length and the largest filtration area in the 3-series JFS models, featuring higher flow capacity and longer service life, specially designed for large-flow natural gas station projects.

Q2: Can JFS-372 be used independently?

A2: No. It is a professional secondary separation element and must be used in conjunction with primary coalescing filter elements to achieve complete gas-liquid separation effect.

Q3: What is the working temperature range?

A3: The continuous working temperature is -40℃ ~ 120℃, adaptable to extreme cold and high-temperature outdoor pipeline environments.

Q4: Is it suitable for sulfur-containing natural gas?

A4: Standard version is for conventional non-corrosive natural gas. Custom anti-corrosion materials are available for high H₂S corrosive working conditions.

Q5: When to replace JFS-372 filter cartridge?

A5: Replace the element when the system pressure difference rises abnormally or the outlet gas carries visible liquid droplets.

Q6: Can JFS-372 replace JFS-348 or JFS-336?

A6: No. Each model has exclusive length and caliber parameters, which cannot be interchanged. Matching must be based on the filter housing size.

Q7: Is customized service supported?

A7: Yes, we support customized length, interface size and special medium formula for special working conditions.
