The JFS-512 filter cartridge features a unique 5-inch tapered conical structure, which greatly improves the overall filtration throughput compared with traditional 3-inch filter elements. The internal integral reinforced support cage provides excellent compression resistance and impact resistance, avoiding medium deformation and layer separation under high gas velocity. The advanced hydrophobic fiber material has ultra-low liquid adhesion, which can quickly aggregate fine liquid droplets and realize rapid gravity sliding and separation. The filter medium has excellent chemical stability and can resist erosion from natural gas condensate, methanol, glycol and other common pipeline chemical additives, ensuring long-term stable operation without performance degradation.

Working Principle

JFS-512 tapered separation filter adopts external-internal radial filtration and gravity coalescence separation technology:

1. The natural gas containing micro liquid droplets and fine solid impurities flows from the outer layer to the inner core of the filter element.

2. The gradient hydrophobic fiber medium intercepts solid particles and adsorbs scattered liquid aerosols.

3. Tiny liquid droplets continuously collide and coalesce into large liquid droplets, sliding down along the tapered surface by gravity.

4. The separated liquid settles in the bottom of the filter vessel and is discharged, while dry and purified natural gas is delivered to downstream pipelines.
