Working Principle
SO-424V works based on Velcon’s classic cylindrical inside-out hydrophobic separation mechanism:
1. Fuel mixed with coalesced water droplets and tiny solid impurities flows radially outward from the inner core toward the outer filter media layer.
2. Hydrophobic filter media repels all free water droplets and blocks water penetration through the filter layer.
3. Only clean, dry and qualified fuel smoothly passes through the cylindrical separation cartridge.
4. Trapped water accumulates on the outer surface of filter media, merges into large water masses and settles by gravity to complete fuel-water separation.
