PS Series Natural Gas Filter Cartridges are high-performance industrial filtration and coalescence separation elements specially engineered for the full-chain purification of natural gas, from upstream onshore/offshore extraction and gathering to midstream long-distance transmission and downstream terminal utilization (including industrial fuel and civil gas supply). This series is optimized for the unique working characteristics of natural gas systems—high pressure, wide temperature fluctuations, and the coexistence of solid particulates and liquid contaminants—and integrates dual core functions of high-precision solid filtration and efficient liquid coalescence separation. Designed with a standardized modular structure, PS Series cartridges are fully compatible with mainstream natural gas filter separators, skid-mounted purification units, pipeline filter housings and CNG/LNG special filtration equipment on the market. They effectively remove rust, pipeline scale, dust, metal shavings (solid impurities) and condensate oil, water mist, hydrocarbon aerosols (liquid contaminants) from natural gas streams, purifying natural gas to meet international pipeline transmission and industrial application purity standards (API, ISO). By protecting downstream key equipment such as compressors, pressure regulating valves, flow meters, gas turbines and LNG liquefaction/regasification units from abrasion, corrosion and blockage, the series ensures the safety, stability, and energy efficiency of the entire natural gas transmission and utilization system, and is a reliable core purification component for natural gas industry projects worldwide.

PS Series Natural Gas Filter Cartridges provide graded high-precision filtration and coalescence performance to adapt to the purification requirements of different links in the natural gas industry chain, with stable and consistent efficiency under rated working conditions. For solid particulate removal in natural gas, the series offers standard precision grades of 10μm, 5μm, 3μm and 1μm, with filtration efficiency of rated particle sizes reaching up to 99.98%. This thoroughly intercepts fine solid impurities that may cause damage to high-speed rotating equipment and precision metering devices, avoiding abnormal wear and measurement errors. In terms of liquid coalescence and separation, the PS series exhibits excellent capture and aggregation capabilities for micro liquid droplets, with liquid removal precision of 0.5μm and 0.3μm and separation efficiency as high as 99.99%. High-precision models in the series can reduce the liquid content in treated natural gas to below 15 ppm, fully meeting the strict purity requirements of long-distance high-pressure pipeline transmission, LNG liquefaction, gas turbine power generation and high-end petrochemical synthetic gas applications. Notably, the filtration and coalescence accuracy of the series remains unaffected by fluctuations in natural gas pressure, flow rate, ambient temperature and gas composition, with no performance attenuation in high-humidity or high-sulfur natural gas working conditions.

PS Series Natural Gas Filter Cartridges adopt hydrophobic and oleophobic modified borosilicate glass fiber as the core coalescing and filtration media, manufactured through an advanced high-temperature adhesive-free hot-melt compounding process. This process completely eliminates chemical adhesives, avoiding secondary pollution of natural gas caused by adhesive dissolution and ensuring the purity of the treated gas. The filter media features a scientific gradient pore size distribution structure: the outer layer with larger pores is responsible for the preliminary interception of large solid particles and coarse liquid droplets, reducing the load on the inner layer; the inner layer with dense small pores realizes fine filtration of micro solids and efficient coalescence of nanoscale liquid droplets. This structural design greatly improves the dirt-holding capacity of the media while maintaining an ultra-low initial pressure drop (≤0.025 MPa), reducing the energy consumption of natural gas transmission. For harsh working conditions such as high-sulfur, high-chloride and high-humidity natural gas, the enhanced models of the series are equipped with PTFE double-coated modified glass fiber media, which further improves the media’s corrosion resistance, anti-adhesion performance and service life. The entire media structure is reinforced with an inner high-strength 304 stainless steel center tube (316L stainless steel optional for corrosive conditions) with high pressure-bearing capacity, and wrapped with an outer anti-impact polypropylene (PP) rigid protective mesh to prevent media deformation, rupture or shedding under the impact of high-pressure natural gas (up to 16 MPa). The end caps are made of high-density epoxy resin with excellent sealing and corrosion resistance, and the sealing interface uses fluororubber (FKM) gaskets with a wide temperature adaptability (-45℃ to 125℃), oil resistance and aging resistance, ensuring zero bypass of unfiltered natural gas and the integrity of the entire purification process.
